Through partnerships with schools, sub-contractor opportunities, community centers, older adult facilities, and more, we teach participants how to tell their unique stories through the skills of podcasting. Program Title: The Art of Storytelling: Finding Your Voice as a Leader
Program Goals and Objectives
The Art of Storytelling for Leadership Development is designed to empower students to discover their inner purpose, recognize their influence, and amplify their voices as changemakers in their communities. Through personal narrative, group dialogue, and project-based learning, participants will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of self and others

  • Strengthen communication, public speaking, and decision-making skills

  • Learn the value of civic engagement through real-world applications

  • Build leadership confidence by sharing their personal stories

  • Experience joy and connection through mutual understanding and collaborative action

Program Title: The Art of Storytelling: Families That Speak, Families That Thrive
Program Goals and Objectives
This adaptation of The Art of Storytelling centers families as essential partners in student growth by helping them rediscover their purpose, share generational wisdom, and build stronger connections with their children through storytelling. Families are invited into a healing, affirming space where they can reflect on their own life experiences, develop new tools for communication, and support their children’s educational journey with clarity and confidence. Participants will:

  • Build trust and communication between caregivers and students

  • Develop an understanding of how family stories shape purpose and vision

  • Learn strategies for supporting children’s academic, emotional, and creative needs

  • Discover joy in sharing personal and cultural histories

  • Establish deeper empathy within the family unit

Program Title: The Art of Storytelling: Healing Through Voice
Program Goals and Objectives
The Art of Storytelling for Conflict Resolution is a restorative, student-centered workshop series that empowers youth to manage and transform conflict through reflective storytelling, emotional intelligence, and peer-based mediation strategies. The program helps students build awareness of their personal values, unlock their ability to communicate effectively, and appreciate the experiences of others as a means of reducing interpersonal conflict and promoting peace. Participants will:

  • Build self-awareness and emotional regulation through narrative reflection

  • Learn conflict de-escalation, active listening, and peer mediation strategies

  • Develop skills to navigate disagreement with empathy and perspective-taking

  • Foster trust and a sense of shared humanity among classmates

  • Discover the power of voice in healing and resolution

Program Title: The Art of Storytelling: My Journey, My Future
Program Goals and Objectives
This version of The Art of Storytelling supports students in connecting their personal stories with future career pathways. By reflecting on their lived experiences, talents, and aspirations, students build the self-knowledge and communication skills necessary to navigate career exploration with confidence. The program emphasizes purpose-driven decision-making, curiosity about the working world, and the value of understanding how individual paths are shaped by experience. Participants will:

  • Reflect on their personal narratives to uncover strengths, values, and interests

  • Gain exposure to diverse careers through storytelling-based exploration

  • Practice job-readiness skills (interviews, resumes, networking)

  • Understand the connection between academic learning and real-world application

  • Build purpose-aligned plans for life after high school

Program Title: The Art of Storytelling: Showing Up for My Life
Program Goals and Objectives
This version of The Art of Storytelling is designed to improve school attendance by reconnecting students to their sense of personal purpose, belonging, and value. Through reflective writing, peer discussion, and creative media production, students learn to articulate why their presence matters — in school, in life, and in their community. The act of telling their story becomes a gateway to self-awareness, healing, and accountability, helping to address the root causes of chronic absenteeism. Participants will:

  • Explore the connection between showing up and personal growth

  • Identify barriers to attendance and develop peer-supported strategies to overcome them

  • Reflect on personal values, family history, and academic goals

  • Foster a renewed commitment to education through purpose-driven storytelling

  • Develop skills in self-expression, time management, and accountability

Program Title: The Art of Storytelling: Reading Our Lives, Writing Our Future
Program Goals and Objectives
This version of The Art of Storytelling is designed to strengthen literacy within families by blending reading, writing, and personal storytelling in a supportive, joyful, and empowering space. Families learn how to engage with texts through discussion and connection, while also using their lived experiences as sources of literacy. The program reframes literacy not just as reading and writing, but as a tool for discovering purpose, honoring heritage, and building shared vision between children and caregivers. Participants will:

  • Develop family-centered literacy routines rooted in storytelling and reflection

  • Strengthen comprehension and communication skills across generations

  • Explore the joy of books, journaling, and oral tradition

  • Use their own life stories to create personalized reading and writing goals

  • Support one another in developing lifelong habits of shared learning
